“1.The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim 7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 17)
One year ago, the Pentagon and the US Army dissuaded Obama from attacking Syria – this meaning a great defeat and loss of prestige for the president.
Now Pentagon and the army are ready to attack Syria (as well as already Iraq) by air in an all-out war. In US Congress, concern continues to grow “that the White House is moving too slowly against ISIS, particularly in view of the terror threat it might pose to the US and its allies”.
A hesitating Pres. Obama has demanded a war plan for Syria by 1. Sept. 2014 – although his staff is totally confused as for the purpose of a suggested bombing campaign and the whereabouts of the IS(IS) targets. The Pentagon has declined to cooperate with Assad about this. Thus (intended?) collateral damages can be foreseen.
But Obama seems indecisive – 54% of Americans consider him not tough enough with foreign adversaries. He may need another9/11. Acc. to former Vice Pres. Dick Cheney this “will occur and with much more deadly weapons” (video). And he has the experience, you know.
Excerpts of General John R. Allen´s Post
General Allen is a high-ranking US General ret. and also an outstanding Fellow of the Brookings , the most influential think tank in the US over 70 years and the world (Wikipedia). General Allen is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. His opinion, therefore, carries weight.
“Until the grisly death of James Foley much of the American public was only beginning to awaken to what IS is and the enormity of the threat it represents.
Syria is on the list quoted by Gen. Wesley Clark, former NATO commander in Europe, of 7 Governments to be taken out in 5 years by the US (video). Clark is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
General Allen disparages Syria thus: “American and allied efforts must operate against IS from Mosul in the east across its entire depth to western Syria. In that regard, “sovereignty” in the context of its airspace and territory is not something we should grant President Bashar al-Assad’s regime. Syria is a failed state neither capable of acting as a sovereign entity nor deserving the respect of one (Because the West has armed and trained ISIS and Al Qaeda against Assad). We cannot leave IS a safe haven anywhere or a secure support platform from which to regroup or enjoy sanctuary across the now-irrelevant frontier between Syria and Iraq.”
The U.S. is now firmly in the game. As a general officer commanding at several levels in the region, I can say with certainty that what we’re facing in northern Iraq is about the region and potentially the world as we know it.
Weeks ago I called for this group to be attacked in the manner only the U.S. can undertake – suddenly, swiftly, surgically. There are some important points giving urgency to the imperative to act.
IS is a well-organized entity, almost certainly supported by former Saddamist regime elements. It will not go away of its own accord or if we don’t poke at it. IS is Chechens, Uighurs to Pashtuns, but also including Europeans and Americans.
IS is flush with recently captured American and Iraqi ordnance and armored vehicles, and awash with dollars lifted from Iraqi banks along its route of advance. It is demonstrating an alarming ability to absorb heavier and more complex military capabilities. IS is able to demonstrate substantial battlefield innovation and agility — two qualities none of us can afford.
These vehicles do not seem to have been captured – rather they look straight from factory
Within its means, IS is waging total war on the region and its “unbelieving and apostate” populations. Before our very eyes, it is transitioning from being a non-state actor into a state-like entity which it will focus on Western and American targets. It’s worth remembering the Taliban provided the perfect platform from which al-Qaeda attacked the U.S.
IS must be destroyed and we must move quickly to pressure its entire “nervous system,” break it up, and destroy its pieces. The U.S. military is not war weary and is fully capable of attacking and reducing IS throughout the depth of its holdings, but supported substantially by our traditional allies and partners – in particular the regional ones.
Indigenous forces coupled with American and allied firepower and accelerating the refurbishment of the Iraqi security force can open fronts against IS to the north.
Iraq and Syria’s Sunni tribes are begging for U.S. and international support. The Kurds, the Sunnis and the Free Syrian resistance elements of the region are the “boots on the ground” necessary to the success of this campaign. We must view this crisis regionally.
Bottom line: A comprehensive American and international response NOW is vital to the destruction of this threat. The execution of James Foley is an act we should not forgive nor should we forget.”
The International Business Times 14 Aug. 2014 and Veterans Today 4 Aug. 2014, think, that IS(IS) Caliph al Baghdadi is a Mossad agent – acc. to Global Res. 16. July 2014 quoting Edward Snowden, he was trained by the Israelis for a year. He is in good company with Rothschild agent US Senator McCain
Veterans Today 28 Aug. 2014 Israel calls itself a “Jewish state”. Al-Baghdadi’s terrorist group calls itself “Islamic State.”Both of these terrorist entities define themselves in terms of rigidly sectarian ideologies. Both are squatting on stolen land. Both brutally trample on the rights of those they consider lesser beings – simply because they hold “second-class” religious views. And both proudly commit horrendous atrocities.
Usrael (governed by the Jewish finance lobby and the Jewish governed Council on Foreign Relations) is to fulfill the biblical Doomsday prophecies – spurred by the very influential Chabads Lubavitch and the US-“Promise Keepers“. Israel´s leaders want their Messiah ben David to come and introduce Jewish world power, once these prophecies are fulfilled. That presupposes, that Israel´s enemies are maximally divided by perpetual war. And it presupposes the destruction of Israel (Hesekiel 38-39, Jeremiah 25, Joel, Luke 21, Matth. 24 etc. Albert Pike).
Nevertheless, the factual US government Council on Foreign Relations 28 Aug. 2014 has the nerve to write: “Russia’s seizure of Crimea and now its further incursions into Ukraine challenge established norms of the liberal world order : a) the principle of sovereignty and the fundamental norm of nonintervention at the heart of the UN Charter b) the sanctity of borders c) the illegitimacy of spheres of influence: Russia’s actions and Putin’s rhetoric abolish d) the supremacy of citizenship over ethnicity. This means the disintegration of multiethnic countries worldwide.”
This is the height of hypocrisy – for all this is exactly what the US is doing in the name of the liberal NWO.
General Allen makes several disastrous mistakes – or should we call them mendacious propaganda statements:
1. He says the IS money is derived from looting Iraqi banks. The informed sums are negligible to pay for a war machinery with an estimated 200.000 warriors. Even the 425 million Dollars the IS stole from the Mossul Central Bank are peanuts to equip such an army.
The fact ist that the IS(IS) was and is being financed, equipped and trained by US, NATO and Israel – not to forget Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
3. The General goes on telling the primitive fabrication that the Al Qaeda shepherds were behind 9/11. All evidence shows that it was a conspiration by the USA and Israel as well as Saudi Arabian officials and Prince Bandar.
4. The general´s disparaging opinion of a small country which has resisted the general´s attempts to dissolve it speaks volumes: He wants a) chaos in Syria as in the other countries he has “liberated” : Afghanistan, Iraq, Libyen, Sudan, the Arab Spring (New World “Order out of Chaos”). b. His master demands a Rothschild central bank in Syria, too, as was enforced in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Sudan. c) Furthermore, the US now sees the oil dollar abandoned by Russia and BRICS countries as reserve currency. Iraq and Libya were attacked for doing just that. Therefore: control the oil sources.
5. General Allen´s war cry will easily lead to a confrontation with Russia – as programmed in Zbigniew Brzezinski´s “Grand Chessboard“: The West is about to occupy the centre in the Eurasian Chess game – the missing link in the plan of Rockefeller´s /Brzezinski´s Trilateral Commission for the world state and here.
Note on the map that the Middle East and Iran are still to be conquered.
But in one point, General Allen is honest: The meaning of the Western/Israeli/ Arabian Gulf State monster-product now calling itself the IS and the amateurish video fake of John Foley´s “beheading” are means to awaken the world and to be jumping boards for a crusade against IS to provoke an all-out Middle East war, at least.
